What should public school teachers do if they are told to teach "creationism" in science cl?

I'm sure most people who have obtained a bachelor's degree in science education would realize that "creationism" is in no way science and can't really be taught as such. I mean, how do you explain even simple stuff like the scientific method in relation to creationism? My state is trying to p legislation requiring public schools to teach "creationism" so what's an ethical teacher to do?
