Do you agree majority of those travelers going to Northeast should have had alternative plans?

They were warned the blizzard was coming. Yet, majority traveled in anticipation of something good. Go figure. I mean what did they expect? I can bet you 95% of these travelers were not going there for an emergency such as death in the family. Don't you agree majority should have made alternative plans like either travel somewhere or do something in their hometown for Christmas?
