What Will They Do About Me Missing School?

So I've missed 17 days of school and I have been checked out 2 times. The attendance lady has already come to tell me that I need to bring in notes. I had a really bad cold towards the start of the year and I missed a lot of school.I had bronchitis and it was hard for me to breath. I missed more school when I was ually aulted, because of home issues, and sickness. The school counselor, my Spanish teacher, and the one of the istant principals all know that I was out because of this crap. I have not always had doctors excuses but I have almost always had a note to excuse me. I was sick or had a specific reason for not coming to school. At one point I had a panic attack and I got sick because of it. I missed two days then. Now I am dealing with the fact that my ex/still together boyfriend may committee suicide.The attendance lady does not know about what is going on and she has threatened to call a social worker. She does not know that the counselors called a social worker because of home issues. My grades are all high and I always make up my work. I have above an 80 in every cl. What will they do about me being absent? By the way I live in Georgia. Can anyone tell me what they will do specifically in Georgia. Will I be taken to court?
