Mind Fantasy/Sci-fi books for my book club (At the very least, view this question! Need help!)?

Then you'd love the Mortal Instrument Trio! Its soooo good. The summary doesn't do it justice. I never saw the ending coming it was a crazy good series I finished all three in 4 or 5 days!
