What can i get? i want to trade my car in for cash or another used car?

I own a red 1995 ford probe gt with 267080 miles on it when i bought it it had 266954 miles on it. I admit I was stupid to buy this car. It's a great car all around. It's just a bit much. Too much car than I care for. I know I should have thought about that before I bought the car, but at the time, I just wanted to 'live a little' and have something really nice and now i want to get rid of it its a MECHANICAL problem for me it just needs a new alternator but i want to get rid of it ive tried all of the junk yards the highest i can get is 300 and i think that's all ill get for it. my parents want me to sell it for no less then 500 and they checked the kelley blue book value for as is its 760 dollars for a trade for cash but i just want to get rid of it as soon as possible to get a car that has less millage but please my parents with a price so please help with giving me websites or advice of who will take my car. I want to get another car with less mileage prefer in the 100,000's maybe small i was looking at a firebird or maybe a jeep give me ideas.
