What happens when your married but need to go your separate ways？?

Yeah, I had a similar marriage. After 12 years she wanted to do something similar as you. Hers was music. We divorced and she went on her way and ended up in Australia. She didn't make it and ended up back in the USA. Doesn't mean that your dream won't work out. You need to do what is in your heart. We ended up remaining as friends. She hasn't given up on her musical dream. I still feel the same way as I did. I'm glad that she did what she did. I would not want to hold her back from what she wanted to do with her life. It's your life to do as you want. What's a shame is that you and my ex wanted this "dream" after the marriage was well on it's way. But you still have the right to follow your dream as my ex did. People need to be as happy as possible.
