Whole Wheat Rolls Stuffed With BBQ Chicken?

I am interested in making whole wheat rolls stuffed with Shredded BBQ Chicken that I make in the crock pot as a tasty quick lunch for work. I like my rolls to be a bit on the sweet side, any suggestions for the bread dough and I do not have a bread machine.
