Do you think it's wrong for someone to bleach their skin?

Me and my grandpa was arguing about it today (Sammy Sosa got brought up) and I think it's fine when it's not harmful to your skin. We all should be happy in our own skin but sometimes people aren't. They can't be forced to and some people won't learn too, its why so many people get plastic surgery. I feel sorry for people who do it, not pity but because you realize they are really unhappy and I want everyone to be happy and if it makes them happy then I dont see anything wrong in it. My grandpa thinks its disrespectful to your race. What's your view?
