It took only 255,000 years for sapiens to evolve from " heidelbergensis". Is evolution that fast?

First of all your link goes nowhere, interesting misdirection. Second of all I'm not expert but I believe that the two were different species and one didn't evolve from the other. As far as I know there were many hominid species alive at the same time and the best killers (us with our bigger brains) were the ones that survived (minus some interbreeding).
